The Lakes of Paducah announces the completion of significant renovation and expansion project on their campus in Paducah. The expansion is highlighted by the addition of a new Open Arms Memory Care neighborhood along with enhancements throughout the community.

Paducah, KY. February 2,2022—Bob Putney, Executive Director of the Lakes of Paducah, today announced the completion of an expansion and renovation of his community in Paducah Kentucky. The completed project includes the addition of a specially designed 12 apartment Memory Care and Alzheimer’s neighborhood referred to as “Open Arms” as well as the addition of 6 new Independent and Assisted Living apartments, along with enhancements to a number of common amenity spaces throughout the community. The project enhancements include an expanded and enhanced health and fitness gym, happy hour lounge and bistro, bake shop and art studio, salon and spa, and a new outdoor patio and firepit area.
“We’re so excited to announce the completion of this major addition and enhancement at the Lakes. Our team has been working for quite some time to make this project a reality and I’m so pleased to finally turn over these new spaces to our current and future residents and families to enjoy,” said Putney. “While we’re still a very new community, we felt like we had outgrown many of our common spaces and really wanted to offer our residents more amenities such as the expanded salon, upgraded health and fitness space, new happy hour lounge, and beautiful outdoor courtyard. We also addressed a community need by expanding our services to support our residents and families challenged with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments. Our new memory care neighborhood has indoor and outdoor space, individual apartments, and was designed to offer our residents a cozy space where they can interact with their neighbors in great common spaces and share meals in our family dining room.” Putney went on to say, “Our goal at The Lakes is to offer our residents a beautiful place to call home, but more importantly we strive to operate our community with honesty, integrity and compassion.
